Social Bite has been helping homeless reinsertion by providing them with food and jobs. They are now attempting to break the cycle of homelessness by building an innovative housing model.
Every year The Edinburgh Collection participates in the Sleep In The Park event which raises funds for Social Bite, in order to help eradicate homelessness in Scotland. The funds raised are used towards providing food, building villages, opening jobs, and help the homeless to rebuild their life.
We believe that every girl deserves menstrual dignity, meaning access to education about menstruation, access to pads, and freedom from stigmas and taboos surrounding menstruation.

At the Haymarket Hub Hotel by drinking our complimentary filtered water from the bottles provided in your room and also available from the reception, you’re helping to reduce packaging waste and making a valuable contribution to the sustainability of our planet for future generations.
Our bars have reduced their plastic consumption by replacing the plastic straws with paper straws.
We have removed all paper guest directories from our rooms allowing our guests to access this from either our app, guest companion system, or Chromecast home menu allowing us to avoid unnecessary paper and plastic consumption.
To help reduce water consumption, we service rooms every third night (unless requested).
