Reservations
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of making a reservation; this initial payment will be credited towards your accommodation total. The outstanding balance is due on departure. At Check in a credit card authorization is required for the total amount of the accommodation charges.
In the event of a cancellation we will maintain the 25% deposit on file for a maximum of 6 months to be used as a deposit towards a future booking.
Special Events e.g. Rugby Internationals, August Festival and Hogmanay require full prepayment at a specified date prior to arrival. Following this date any cancellations are non refundable. Failure to provide full pre payment will result in your booking being released.
In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to cancel your booking. In this event, we shall make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative. In the event of ‘out booking’ your reservation to an alternative accommodation provider, additional costs involved in the relocation will be settled by the Holyrood apartHOTEL
During peak season and high demand periods we reserve the right not to take one night bookings, and may enforce a 2, 3 or 4 night minimum stay restriction. Furthermore, weekend bookings and bookings made in high demand periods for 2 nights which are then cancelled to a one night reservation will be charged for two nights, should the apartment not be resold.
We reserve the right to decline a booking.

Internet rates and special offer rates displayed on our website are only valid & available when they can be booked online at www.holyroodaparthotel.com
Check In and Check Out
Unless otherwise agreed, Check-in is from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is any time prior to 12.00 noon on the day of departure
Smoking Policy
Holyrood apartHOTEL offers a limited number of Smoking apartments on the 1st floor only. All other apartments are non smoking and non smoking signage is clearly displayed in the apartment. We reserve the right to charge a minimum £50.00 deep cleaning fee should you smoke in a non smoking apartment.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the apartments, however guide dogs are welcome.
Damage Liability
It is expected that the apartments are left in a reasonably clean and tidy order. You are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during your stay which has occurred due to negligence or omission. Any damage must be reported to us without delay
Guests are advised that we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your goods or personal belongings kept at the accommodation. Should the Hotelier be held liable for any such loss, liability is limited under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956
Car Parking
Onsite secure car parking is provided at a cost of £8.50 per vehicle per night, and must be booked in advance. The Holyrood apartHOTEL accepts no liability to damage or loss from vehicles parked in the car park.
Complaints
In the event of any dispute or should we receive a serious complaint regarding guest behavior we reserve the right to terminate your stay without notice. Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge guests who cause a disturbance that incurs additional costs to the Holyrood apartHOTEL, as a result of inappropriate behavior.
