Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is a fabulous 4 day festival typically starting on the 29th December in a blaze with a spectacular Torchlight Procession through the city. Thousands gather together to follow a Viking long-boat up to the top of Calton Hill where it was ceremonially burnt.

During the course of Hogmanay Edinburgh population literally doubles with visitors from through out the United Kingdom and the world! People travel from far and wide to get amongst Scotland’s Celebrations, and Edinburgh is without doubt the place to be!
