Our 4-star Edinburgh apartment hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from Waverley train station. We would however suggest you take a taxi if you are laden with luggage. You can pick up a taxi from outside the train station – expect to pay £4.00 - £5.00 dependant on the time of day.
The postal code for GPS is EH8 8PE and once you are on Holyrood Road, the entrance for the car park you are looking for is Hammermans Entry just beside the Tesco Express. To access our car park turn into Hammermans Entry, then turn right, and you will see the car park gates ahead of you. Other landmarks to look for are: Tesco Express, Pizza Express and Foodies Coffee shop opposite the Scotsman Building. The street between Pizza Express and Foodies Coffee Shop is Gentiles Entry and leads to the front entrance of our Edinburgh hotel apartments. Route 1: Walking to our 4-star Edinburgh hotel from Waverley Train Station
Exit via Market Street. Cross at pedestrian crossing directly outside Train Station, turn left and continue along Jeffrey Street until you meet The Royal Mile, turn left and continue down the Royal Mile approx 5 minutes, heading towards Holyrood Palace. On the right hand side you will see an archway called Bakehouse Close, walk through the close following the road around to the left where you will see HOLYROOD apartHOTEL around the corner of this Close.
Route 2: Driving to Holyrood apartHOTEL, Edinburgh Scotland from the West, follow signs to city centre of Edinburgh
Follow the signs to the West End of Princes Street - turn right up Lothian Road, pass through three sets of lights at fourth set turn left into Bread Street, and continue along this road and through the Grassmarket, road changes to Cowgate. Continue on this road until, name changes to Holyrood Road after St Mary Street Junction, continue down Holyrood Road turn left into Hammerman's Entry/Morgan Court which leads to HOLYROOD apartHOTEL Car Park, press buzzer on right hand side and Reception of our Edinburgh Apartment hotel will open gates for you.
Route 3: Driving to Holyrood apartHOTEL from the South
Follow the signs to city centre of Edinburgh, driving down you will pass The Commonwealth Swimming Pool on your right hand side, turn right at next set of lights into Holyrood Park. Take first turning at mini roundabout, take first turning at next roundabout through Holyrood Gait, turn left at the intersection onto Holyrood Road take first Right Hand turn (between ‘Pizza Express and ‘Foodies’) onto Gentles Entry for Reception, or the Second opening on right hand side (Next to ‘Tesco Express convenience store) to drive straight to the car park. Press the intercom at the silver car park gates of our hotel near Edinburgh Castle to announce your arrival.
We offer our guests onsite secure car parking in Edinburgh city centre for a nominal fee of £15.00 per car, per day. We have a limited number of spaces, so if required please reserve your car park at the time of booking. The post code for GPS is EH8 8PE
The car park entrance is via Hammermans Entry beside Tesco Express, which is accessed from Holyrood Road, at the second last set of traffic lights when driving toward the rear entrance to Parliament.
Follow Hammermans Entry for approximately 80 metres to the right at which point you will see the silver Holyrood apartHOTEL car park gates. There is an intercom to your right – please announce yourself to Reception who will open the gates for you.
Please park in any parking bay and make your way to reception on level 2 via the lift or two flights of stairs.
